downloads · marketsense companion
MarketSense is a Windows companion app. It shares marketboard data and history you view in game with yourself and the community through this site, then unlocks the workflows that make the data useful.
If you download the app, joining Discord is important for update news, bug fixes, support, and setup help.
what it does
Any price data and history you view in game can become searchable data for you and the community.
Get Discord notifications when something sells on the marketboard while you are online.
See what you can craft using what is already in your inventories, retainers, saddlebag, and FC chest.
Share desynthesis and price tax data through the site so profitability checks stay useful.
Search, sort, and price your inventory online, including support for retainer-space planning.
in return, the site can
Use shared market data to compare transmutation, gathering, crafting, maps, and other gil-making workflows.
Find what is valuable, what is stale, and which ingredients are worth keeping before a retainer fills up.
Every scan helps your server pages become more useful for the next person checking margins.
setup tips
To update your inventory data you have to change zones.
To update retainer data, talk to the retainer. After changing inventory, equipment, or for-sale items, talk to them again to send the updated data.
Interact with the FC chest to update FC data. If you trade an item into the chest and recheck it, rezone to refresh your inventory copy.
If you notice duplicates or wrong calculations, post them in the technical difficulties channel on Discord.
The inventory networth calculation does not take bound items into account.
Prices are only as accurate as the data provided. Visiting the marketboard and looking at an item price is enough; you do not need to open history.
